MATH (reflectio)

RATIOS
In the past few weeks, we have been working on ratio, which was our new topic for the starting of term four. We have been told to create a blog about the ratio. We also had a presentation about ratio and in our presentation, and we had to include the following question in the presentation. What is ratio? Where do you use them? Ask a math question.
We were given math ratio question in class to answer and figure it out and we also work together in a group to find the answer and learn more about the ratio.

What is ratio
A ratio is used to compare values. They tell us how much of one thing there is compare to another. For example, A bowl of fruit has two peaches and ten apples. The ratio of peaches and apples is 2:10.

Where do you use them (ratio)
this is where you used ratio or this are the place you used ratio.

How can we make it easier for ourselves to understand Ratios very quickly and fast.

2. What were some of your strength and weakness in this unit? What is your plan to improve in your areas of weakness?
Well to be honest with this question I did not have any strength in Ratios I was so weak in Ratios because I did not understand it very easy and it took an hour to think before doing my work and to understand what I'm doing.
To improve my work on Ratios I want to try harder and do my best to understand Ratios more and I want to have less talk on the topic and think about the examples and how am I going to understand it.

MAKEY MAKEY (GAME CONTROLLER)

INTRODUCTION:

In the last term and the past few weeks, we were told in DTE to make a project, and the project was called MAKEY MAKEY. We were asked to group yourself into groups to create our own MAKEY MAKEY. We were given an example of how to make the Makey Makey and how it works, and our group decided to make a controller to use it for our MAKEY MAKEY. The reason why we used the controller because we were going to used it to play a game called Mario.

REFLECTIONWorking in this project was very fun and amazing but then we struggled to get idea and think about how to do that and this, but then we just put that thought aside and we work hard even though that it was a little hard but we work together to come up with different ideas, and then we put them together to create our MAKEY MAKEY. We did not only struggle but we did also learn so many things working in this project not only that but we get to enjoy it and have fun. We also finished our project and to be honest it went very well, we had many things that we did not include in our project because we did not have enough time to finish our project and include those things, but then we were so happy that we get to achieve something in the end. If we had time I think that our Makey Makey can be more fun and we can try to make it look good. This picture shows the Makey Makey we made and how it works.

  • Today I enjoyed working with my group and also we managed to get through a lot of things and get a lot of things done and we also helped each other.
2. Is there anything you need help with? Who can help you? What didn't go well today?
  • Well, we don't need any help and we did very well today everything went well.
3. How will you improve in that next lesson?

  • Well, we could dig deeper into the topic and work hard o get the best.
Week two

1. What went well today?
  • Today we finished what we did on week 1 and we have stared our plans on week two and we also finished our map and diagram.
2. Is there anything you need help with? Who can help you? What didn't went well today?
  • Well, we don't need to help my group is working really well and we are also helping each other and everything went well today nothing went wrong.
3. How will you improve in that next lesson?
  • to improve our work we are just going to work hard and work together as a group to make our work good

  • Today everything went well we were able to finish our map and our diagram and also finish the question.
2. Is there anything you need help with? Who Can Help you? What didn't went well today?
  • Well, we need help with our work just a little bit of help because some of the things that we are working on is a little bit confusing, but Miss Handley can help us. Today we had to restart everything because Miss Handley wants us to do something that is more challenging that is the thing that did not go well today.

  • Our group needs help because we are stuck with our presentation and we could not upload any picture to our slides, but I think that Miss Handly can help us with that.

  • work together and try to dig deeper into the topic.
28/11/18
1. What went well today?

  • Today we finished our presentation and fix everything that we weren't able to do and we also had fun working together as a group. We also had the chance to present to the class everything we did and we were happy with what we did and what we were able to achieve.
  • Everything went well with our research but the most difficult thing that happens with our research was that we find it hard to get every single information like we couldn't get what the name of the tsunami was but then we ended up getting it. The hardest thing was that we had to restart our work because the teacher told us that it would be much better if we can challenge ourself into something that's more better.
