Passion Project

15/11/18
What am I learning? How do I know what I have learned?

  • Today I have how to do the SWOT analysis and I have also learned how to communicate with other people and also how to achieve something that you have not before.
Who is in my group? A photo of your brainstorms and idea so far.
  • These are the people in our group is Adi, Anneleise, Janell. Lenora and Ofa.

What is a SWOT?
  • A SWOT analysis is studying and organizing ideas into a different category by strength in the group the weakness in the group, the opportunities in the group and last but not the least the threats we have in the groups.

SWOT Analysis
Strengths:
  • We have people who know and play the chosen sport
  • We are good at working with kids/have coached before.
  • We have experienced professional training

Weakness:
  • We may not be able to work with certain kids because of behavior.
  • Lack of involvement.
  • Lack of interest from the kids.
Opportunities:
  • We can give them sports tips.
  • We can teach them to improve/ to Vs other students to test their skills.
  • No cost available
  • This can also help us improve our own skills when we are questioned about our way of teaching a certain sport.

Threats:
  • Injuries that cannot be prevented/ constant injuries.
  • Social skills(too shy to talk)
  • Fail to prevent injuries that can be prevented.

Problem-solving:
Weakness
We can try and make it for fun and enjoyable for young people.
We can make it challenging and competitive.

Threats:
We can put them in small groups and get to know each other first.
We can never prevent injuries but we can help with working in a safer environment during the time we have with them, and we can also provide them with the first-aid kit

Skill application:
Strengths:
We will look at the level of skill that the students have and use that to teach them what they need to improve on.
The skills we learned will be put to good use when we work with the students.T

Opportunities:
We can contact the Hornby primary school for permission to work with the primary students.
We can also work with other groups that have similar ideas to work with.

Action:

Sum up what has come out of your SWOT analysis (you will be planning your steps shortly, you may want to be showing you are thinking about this here too)
