NEOLITHIC

                            History Of Neolithic Stone Age.

This is a poster that I have worked on about Neolithic. The meaning of Neolithic is new stone scraper, scrapers are the one of the original stone tools, found everywhere where people settle long before the Neolithic Age began. The Neolithic Era (new stone) began around 10,000 BC and ended between 4500 and 2000 BC in various parts of the world. Traditionally considered the last part of stone age or new stone. The Neolithic followed the terminal period and commenced with the beginning of farming, which produce the Neolithic Revolution. It ended when metal tool became widespread . The Neolithic is a progression of behavioral and cultural characteristics and changes, including the used of wild and domestic crops and of domesticated animals. The beginning of
Neolithic is considered to be in the Levant about 10,200 BC.

                                            Neolithic Tools.

Neolithic people was extremely successful farmers, and particularly adept at producing the tools needed for the tending, harvesting and processing of their crops. Tools such as sickle blades, grinding stones, projectile points, stone axes, hammers, flint scrapers and knives were all fashioned from flint or stone.

Neolithic House.

A Neolithic house was rectangular and made either from tree trunks sunk vertically into the ground or from woven branches covered with mud. The gables at each end were supported by a large beam leaning against the ridge of the roof. The roof itself was made from timber beams with reed thatch covering it.

Neolithic Food.

During this period humans began domesticating plants such as wheat, barley, lentils, flax and eventually all crops grown in today's society. Neolithic humans also domesticating sheep, cattle, pigs and goats as convenient food sources. Most unprocessed, whole foods logically fit in the Neolithic diet.

Neolithic Lifestyle

Sedentary.... They farmed in permanent settlements and raised/herded animals; agriculture was discovered and becomes a major sources of food families evolved.

                                              Neolithic Clothes.

Neolithic people wear animals skins, woven garments.

Neolithic Health

Neolithic people were shorter and had lower life expectancy. Diseases like tooth cavities and typhoid emerged in the new stone age. Neolithic women had more children because the lifestyle was no longer nomadic.

                                            Neolithic Wall Painting.

In Perhistoric art the term Neolithic art describes all arts and crafts created by societies who had abandoned the semi-nomadic lifestyle of hunting and gathering food in the favour of farming animals husbandry.

                                                     THE   END..
