student are addicted to their phone

Are student addicted to their cellphones? If so, is that a problem.
To be honest, I marvel at the fact that student can actually find their way across campus in today world of smart phone. I say this answering yes to six or more of these statement is symptomatic of a cellphone or smart phone problem and could point to an addicition issue. Dependency on mobile devices can transform student's social skill making them more reliant on virtual communication while inhibiting their ability to converse in person. While the practicality of cellphones is unparalleled, the reliance students have on them is unhealthy.
Are student addicted to their phone. Many student justify this dependency on their mobile device at night in part because they rely on apps such as an alarm clock to wake up. If student do not achieve eight hours of sleep, certain cognitive function such as learning and memory, can start to decline in performance. While smartphones have many practical function, it is important to turn off your mobile device often and maintain your personal while developing meaningful, in-person relationship.
