17.08.18
1.  How does Ellie feel as she is waiting in the truck at the Council Depot?
Where do her emotions come from?

  • Ellie felt cold, fear, and excitement, her emotion came from love, love from her friends cause she did not want to let them down.
2.  Why are the girls smiling when in danger? Is this a logical response?
  • cause they are coping in the situation and they want to do this reaction so they can not feel like they are really that nervous.
3.  What does wearing a helmet and buckling up the mean to the girls?
  • they have to so sure about their safety and if they fall and hit something they won't have any brain damage.
4. What does Chri's story say about the town?
  • well he said that he saw Air Forces flying in the sky but very low and he thought that it was just Commem Day staff, and around nine o'clock the power went off and he thought that it was just something common than after an hour the power was still of, so he decides to use the phone but the phone was off, and there was no one around the town and he  also finds out that three people were shot badly  and the town was abandoned not only that but they spread in the hole town and attack everyone.
5.  What impact does the BMVW have on the story? Does Chris seem lonely? Explain your answer?
  •  it helps them escape cause the sound of the BMVW when it falls into the river brings Chris out of his hiding place and yes Chris was lonely cause his parent went to overseas and his babysitter went to the showground.
6.  what is Homer's explanation for the need to swap cars at Chris Langs place? What does this show about the way he is thinking?
  • Well if the soldiers were coming and if they find the BMVW they would think that they have a connection with Chris and Homer is thinking smart and very clever.
7.  What are your thoughts on the story so far?
  • To me, this story is very very interesting.
